Great food at Great Kills location..have never eaten from Arden Ave. Never disappointed and they cater to special requests unlike some other places.
I have no idea why this is rated a 3.9 but let me just start off by saying this is one of the best sushi places on Staten Island! The sushi is very fresh. The service is great! The ambiance is cute! The food is very fresh and handled with care. I love the spicy salmon crunch rolls with spicy mayo! The fried ice cream is not oily like some other places. The fried rice is the best I ever had! Ask for the side of sauce with the fried rice! It is divine!
Food was very affordable and very tasty! The service was pretty quick too. Definitely coming back
Sushi is always fresh tasting and delicious. I have never eaten inside as we live nearby and usually get takeout so I cannot speak for the service or comfort. I do feel Genki is a cut-above the other Chinese/Japanese sushi restaurants in our area.
Great service, very cute and nice place where are you can taste a very fresh and tasty rolls and delicious sashimi, staff very friendly. It's our favorite sushi place . Number #1 in Staten Island
This is honestly and truthfully one of the best sushi places I have been to in a long time. Keep in mind that I've never been to an omakase-centered spot or any sushi spot with more than two dollar signs as a price point - but I know my way around a good deal or two. And this place has the most bang for the buck in NYC for some fresh, flavorful sushi and some very solid cocktails. Things got better with every bite! If that wasn't enough - the service was lightning-fast. We came in a little before the dinner rush, but I've waited fifteen minutes for one roll at other places where I've been the only person there. I got my cocktail within the minute and our orders within five. They do not play around at this spot. This is a place I would travel the seas for. And I actually did - shoutout to the Staten Island ferry. Will definitely be back to try the special rolls
